Bad audiophile products. In Robert McCloskey's "Centerburg Tales a salesman comes to town with a miracle product called "Eversomuchmoreso" that makes everything you sprinkle it on better-- or, at least, more like what it already is. This sort of thing impresses me as being along that line. I mean, you've spent the big coin on your components-- why wouldn't you want to be sure that the knobs on your amp aren't messing with your sound? $485 bucks. You know you have to have these.
