Eight gout causing foods. They forgot oysters. Adding insult to injury, Health.com continues: "Feel like you’re left with nothing to eat? Not true, experts say. There are actually several types of foods that may help protect you against gout. These include low-fat dairy foods, complex carbohydrates, coffee, and fruits, especially citrus fruits." Nice to know that coffee is okay, especially since I have finally managed to cut my coffee consumption to about a cup a day. And hey! Low-fat dairy! Doesn't that mean cheese that tastes like chalk? Well all right then! Thanks, Health.com!
