I will keep this in mind. I think the only one I've been guilty of - at least in print - is "addictive."
I'm not so sure about "additive". I've been buying an oat cookie from the bakery next door at lunch everyday for more than a week now, and I'm starting to think I should get two. Or a slice of cake. I think it's like a gateway drug.
