So much great jazz out there, but how can anyone hope to keep up when on top of everything else great Miles Davis sets are still being released?

I listened to some of this on Spotify-- amazing. In 1969 Miles, Shorter, Chick Corea,Dave Holland and Jack DeJohnette were making music that still sounds absolutely cutting edge right now. I mean, sure, with a line-up like that, why not? But it goes beyond great musicians playing at the top of their game-- the ideas, the directions that they go in, especially on the numbers that Miles had been working on for 20 years, are astonishing.
