The difference between Bush and Trump is starting to come into focus. Both men are, of course, profoundly stupid, but Bush's administration was filled with people who had terrible policy ideas and understood how government operates. Trump has filled his administration with people who have no idea how government works, most notably Trump himself. Does Trump have any policies or ideology? I don't think he does-- he just has applause lines. McConnell is close to saying it aloud; Ryan still thinks that Trump is a potentially useful tool for the implantation of terrible policy ideas.
