The
internet and music streaming took away the pleasure of going to record
stores to look for sides I didn't have. On the other hand, I am
presently reading a biography of Sonny Rollins, and when a particular
song is referenced I can just dial it up and listen. I miss the physical
artifact- the cover art, the liner notes- but the tradeoff seems mostly
worth it.
